Quick Microwave Mug Cake


Cakes are something which kids passionately love! My daughter also loves them! It is something even we also cant resist ;-) For those sudden cake carvings here is an simple cake recipe which tastes truly divine.




Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp flour (Maida)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2.5 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1.5 tbsp milk
  • 1.5 tbsp yogurt
  • 1.5 tbsp salted butter at room temp.
  • A drop of vanilla extract

Method:
  • Take a microwave safe mug & mix all the dry ingredients like flour, coca powder, powdered sugar, baking powder and mix well with the help of a spoon.
  • Now gently add milk, yogurt, butter and vanilla extract, mix everything well with a spoon.
  • Make Sure that it wont have any lumps.
  • Microwave it on a high power Setting for 3 minutes.
  • Make the use of toot pick to check if the cake is done, Insert a took pic inside the mug, if it comes out clean the cake is done! 
  • Here the microwave time will differ on the brand of the microwave used, if you feel that the sticky or still not properly risen then you can microwave if for another minute.
  • After Taking it out from the microwave give it a standing time of 15-20 minutes and then serve.
  • You can add few nuts and top it with a vanilla ice-cream or can dazzle with chocolate sauce. :)

Oreo Thick Shake / Oreo Milk Shake

 I'm personally not a big fan of Oreo biscuits and so is my daughter and while shopping in supermarket  last week I got a big packet of Oreo biscuits free, I was wondering as what to make, started searching for some recipes to make something really yummy not for me but for my darling daughter, In the process I got some wonderful Ideas and combined some of mine and the result was super duper yummylicious thick shake :)

Ingredients:
  • 5 Oreo biscuits (Doubled / Don't Remove Cream)
  • Whole Milk : half Cup
  • Ice cream : 2 Scoops (Preferably Vanilla / Chocolate )
  • Sugar: As per taste
  • Chocolate Sauce - 2 tbsp (Optional )
Method:
  • Crush 4 Oreo Biscuits with you hand,
  • In a Jug, Add Crushed Oreo biscuits,
  • Add milk, Ice-cream, Sugar & Chocolate Sauce
  • Use Blender and Make a Smooth, creamy and forthy shake (you can use the mixi also for the same)
  • Pour Into The Serving Glass
  • Garnish with the remaining one Oreo cookie or you can dazzle with more chocolate sauce or even some crushed Oreo Cookies :-)
I'm Sure Kids will love it and even Adults too! :) 

Pasta In White Sauce


'Pasta In white Sauce' is one of the all time favorite recipe of My husband as well as mine... while every one else in my family enjoys while having this pasta and to see the smiles on their faces in the only means of ultimate satisfaction!

Ingredients:
  • Parboiled Pasta - 1 cup
  • Mix Veggies - 1 cup (Chopped Capsicum, Chopped Onions, Chopped Carrots)
  • Whole Milk - 2 Cups
  • Butter : 2tbsps
  • Oil : 2tbsps
  • Corn Flour / Maida : 1.5  tbsps.
  • Grated Cheese to Garnish:  1/4th Cup
  • Garlic Paste: 3tbsps
  • Salt, Pepper, Oregano & Chili flexes as per your Taste.

Method:
Lightly Toss Veggies:
In a heavy bottom pan, add 2 tbsps of oil, Add, the chopped veggies, salt & pepper, Just lightly toss veggies for 3-4 Minutes, make sure the crispiness remains ;-) switch off the flame and keep it aside.
For While Sauce:
Heat butter in the same heavy bottom pan
After butter starts melting, make the flame very slow, add the garlic paste and saute it till garlic turns pink,
Add the cornflour / maida and saute it for one more minute, be careful that flour wont burn.
Add Milk, Salt, Pepper, Oregano & Chili flexes as per your Taste, (Now You can make the flame high)
Finally Assembling! 
As milk starts boiling, add Tossed Veggies & Parboiled Pasta.
Mix every thing very lightly on a slow flame and be careful that pasta don't break.
Switch off the flame and add grated cheese.
Serve Hot!
So the Pasta in White Sauce Is Ready To Be Served!!

Ice Gola Dish

Here is one of the most easy, cold & juicy treat to kick off burning Summers!

Ingredients:
  • Crushed Ice - 2 Cups
  • Orange Squash - half cup (Any Flavor of your choice can be used, example kala khatta, rose etc.)
  • Grated Coconut - 3 tbsp
  • Nuts (almonds, cashew and raisins ) -  half cup
Method:
Crush Ice Using Ice Crusher
Collect the Crushed Ice directly into serving dish.
Sprinkle Orange Squash , grated coconut and then nuts.
You can adjust the quantities of Orange Squash, coconut and nuts to suit your taste buds!
Enjoy the chilled delicacy to kick off summers!
