Ingredients
4 Cups All Purpose Flour (Maida)
1 tsp active dry yeast
Lukewarm water (1 cup for for yeast frothing + other for kneading dough as per need)
1 tsp sugar for yeast frothing + 1 tsp for kneading dough
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp Oil for + brushing
15–20 cloves of garlic — minced
Oregano - As per taste
Chilli flakes - As per taste
Grated Cheese - Optional As per taste
Butter - 4-5 tsp
1-2 tbsp corn flour for dusting

Method

Yeast Proofing (Frothing)
- In a small sized tea mug, fill it 3/4th by water, add one spoon of sugar and stir till sugar is completely dissolved.
- Now add 1 tsp of active dry yeast and gently stir.
- Cover the mixture and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes, after that it will become frothy.
Bread Dough:
- Take a Big bowl (used for making dough for rotis) add 4 cups of maida, 1 tsp of sugar and small spoon of salt (you can adjust salt as per taste), add some of the minced garlic cloves.
- Mix well and then add the frothy yeast mixure and knead the dough with the remaining luke warm water. Also keep the dough very soft it should not be hard. At the end complete the process with adding few drops of oil and kneading again.
- Now cover the dough with damp cotton cloth and keep it aside for 1 hour. After one hour it will almost double in size.
- While the dough is kept aside, prepare the garlic filling, In a small bowl, take the soft butter at room temperature, add minced garlic, oregano and chilli flakes, mix well and keep aside.
- After one hour, take the dough add few drops of oils and knead again thoroughly.
- Divide it into 3-4 equal parts as per size preference, and make a big lemon size balls. Take one of the round ball and keep others again covered with damp cloth.
- On a flat counter top, sprinkle some corn flour and roll it in circular shape like pizza roti.
- Now apply the Garlic Filling prepared in previous step evenly with the help of spoon, You can add grated cheese as shown in picture below.
- Now lift one end of circle to meet the other, form a semi circle. Gently sealed the ends with your fingers.
- Grease a baking tray and gently put the semi circle on it.
- Cut the semi circle with sharp knife into sticks as shown in picture.
- Brush the top part of semi circle with oil and sprinkle oregano and chilli flakes.
- Pre heat the oven for 6-7 minutes in convection mode (Please check and adjust the oven settings as per your brand manual).
- Bake it for 12-15 minutes till it gets the golden brown crust on top or till the aroma of baked garlic is spread around :)
- Please keep a eye while its getting baked, If required check after 10 mins.
- Its Ready!! Serve with Tomato Ketchup and with cheese dip!
